CM & CQ

Capacitive Proximity Sensors Capacitive sensors from SICK feature high EMC and increased switching distances. Capacitive proximity sensors are able to detect both non-metallic and metallic objects. The larger the dielectric constant of the object, the larger the sensing range of the sensor. Capacitive proximity sensors are used for detecting liquids, bulk materials and other non-metallic objects either directly or through non-conductive materials.

Features:
  • High electromagnetic compatibility
  • Increased sensing distances of up to 25 mm
  • Choice of designs for flush and non-flush installation
  • Improved vibration resistance. Increased shock resistance. IP 67 washdown protection
  • CM 18 PTFE housing for highly aggressive environments
  • CM 30 AC 2-wire design for 250V AC operating voltage
