For monitoring of excess levels on pallets, automatic doors, gates, or for reliable counting in a picking station, a single-beam sensor for object detection is frequently inadequate. In such applications the ELG light grid with its parallel beams is the reliable, economic and installation-friendly solution. The automation light grid MLG is as variable as you require it to be. It has a host of possibilities with regard to size, resolution, configuration and interfaces. The electronics are completely integrated in the compact housing. Height measurement, zone division and monitoring, object recognition, hole and crack detection, slack control and free-passage control are all tasks suitable for the MLG. In addition, the multiple scan function makes it possible to detect not just large objects, but also small ones down to 10 mm.
