ICR840
ICR840 The ICR840 CMOS area imager is a 1D and 2D bar code reader for stationary parts. This product is used when directly marked objects require identification. The ICR840 offers a resolution of 1.3 mega-pixels (1280 x1024) and integrated LED illumination for 1D and 2D DataMatrix decoding?it is ideal for different print types, including dot peen, laser on metal, and difficult to read or poor contrast codes. Applications include objects such as electronic components and parts supplied to military, automotive, aerospace and medical industries. The ICR840 offers a resolution that can be adjusted to increase the image repeat rate above 25Hz. This enables faster read rates or more opportunities to decode for slowly moving product. The standard field of view is 45 x 35 mm?, sufficient for resolving small DataMatrix codes with 0.2-mm cell sizes. Integrated software assistants simplify setup and an Ethernet connection quickly downloads images to a PC. Windows?-based CLV Setup Software configures all SICK bar code scanners, including the ICR840. The ICR840 is the efficient solution for direct part marking (DPM) identification. Ever-growing demand for traceability and miniaturization is driving the use of DPM. Whether by ink jet, laser or dot peening ? a variety of objects are marked in production, logistics, document handling, pharmaceutical, laboratory, and automotive applications.
