MPC Series

Inertia Dynamics offers a family of 24V Holding Brakes that bolt on to the front NEMA flange of MCG motors without modification. These brakes release when 24Vdc is applied and engage if a loss in power occurs. Although designed to hold loads, it can stop dynamic loads in emergency situations.

The B-Series brakes are perfect for vertical applications like robots & Z axis, or when the load needs to be parked (vehicles, antennas, etc).
