Safety and Identification
Technologies
Employers, managers and
equipment designers need to be acutely aware of the safety issues
affecting automated machinery and robotics. The recent machine
safety legislation is significant and far-reaching. Give us a call
to learn more how we can help with a safety audit of your existing
system and then develop a safety solution that fits your needs.
Additionally, we have the skill sets to help you through any
identification and tracking applications.

Light Curtains
Safety Light
curtains can be used vertically or horizontally wherever
hazardous points-of-operation and dangerous areas need
safeguarding. From compact models designed for machine
locations where space is tight, to larger, robust light
curtains powerful enough to guard large perimeters. We
offer you a choice, because when it comes to automation
safeguarding, one size does not fit all. |

Safety Line
Scanner
The Laser
scanner is an
optical sensor that scans its
surroundings with infrared laser beams.
No separate reflectors are
required. Installation is simple because the sender and
receiver are accommodated in a single housing.
It can be used to monitor the hazardous areas on a machine
or a vehicle. It is a non-contact presence sensing proximity
sensor. |

Vision Based
Press Brake Safety System
The new V 4000 Press Brake
System is the first camera sensor that offers both maximum
safety and optimization on press brake machines. This device
utilizes vision-based technology for point-of-operation
safeguarding on press brake machines in metalworking and
automotive applications.
It is an
all-inclusive sensor and evaluation system consisting of a
sender and a receiver, mounted on the upper beam of the
press and safeguarding the punch during the fast downward
movement. |

Industrial
Bar Code Systems:
The
MS-860 makes reading bar codes and stacked 2D codes easy.
Push-button calibration and a fully programmable feature
set enable you to quickly and easily configure the scanner
to meet your needs. Raster settings are programmable to
read multiple symbols at different locations or at varying
distances. |

2D Data Matrix Handheld Scanner
The MS-Q Quadrus Imagers are optimized to read bar codes
and 2D symbols that use direct part mark (DPM) methods.
It is the most aggressive handheld imager available for
decoding symbols on low contrast substrates such as
metal, plastic, rubber, and glass with marking methods
such as dot peen and laser/chemical etch. |
