What is your job title, and what does that position entail?

I am a Production Technician I. My job involves value-adding hardware to robotics components and cables, including but not limited to RoHS compliant soldering, as well as testing, uploading firmware, and troubleshooting.

How long have you worked at Olympus, where did you come from? A little history of how you got involved with Olympus?

I’ve worked at Olympus Controls since January 2016.  I got involved through DW Fritz, which coincidentally was located next to my former contract employment at Rockwell Collins.

What do you like best about working at Olympus?

The culture here; it doesn’t feel like just another job.

Describe a little of your past history.

I moved here from Florida in 2011 though I’m originally from Texas.

Describe some of your hobbies – what do you like to do outside of work?

Computer maintenance, auto tech, hiking, fishing, retro gaming

What are some key lessons you have taken from your career thus far?

The devil is in the details; if you want to flush ’em out, you have to pay attention.

What is one thing your customers might find surprising about you?

 I always try to make sure the customer will be be satisfied by what I produce.
